Requesting your repeat prescriptions
There are three ways:

By Phone
Contact reception after 10am, Monday to Friday, 02837521400.

Online
Register for Patient Access by bringing ID to reception to request repeat scripts online. This service is for patients 18+. See the information provided below.

On Paper
Write your request clearly and place it in the wooden box located inside the main door (blank forms are provided).
Acute Medications
These are medicines or items required for short-term medical issues—for instance, a cream needed only when a skin condition flares up. They are not intended for long-term use.
You can request acute prescriptions by calling the reception team; please note that these cannot be ordered through our online system.
If you have not been prescribed this medication previously, you will likely be asked to schedule a telephone or face-to-face consultation. Acute prescriptions are provided at the doctor's professional discretion, following strict safety and clinical governance guidelines.
Many acute requests concern items that can be purchased affordably over the counter or obtained for free via the 'Pharmacy First' scheme at your local chemist. We encourage you to consult your community pharmacist before contacting the surgery for these items.
Repeat Medications
These consist of items that a doctor has approved and added to the 'repeat' section of your clinical records. This list includes medications you are expected to take regularly on an ongoing basis.
Please note that not all medications are suitable for the repeat list, even if you require them regularly. This includes controlled drugs, antibiotics, or medications requiring closer monitoring due to potential side effects.
You should generally place your request when you have approximately 5 to 7 days of your current supply remaining.
