Travel information

The practice is able to offer a limited number of vaccinations for travel purposes, i.e. those which are available on NHS prescription.  These are:

We don’t routinely provide, for travel purposes, those vaccines which are not available on the NHS (such as hepatitis B, Japanese encephalitis, rabies, tick-bourne encephalitis).  Drugs to prevent malaria are also not available on the NHS.  There are now numerous external providers through which you can acquire non-NHS travel vaccines and antimalarials.

Yellow fever is an exception; we sometimes have yellow fever vaccine available and are currently an accredited yellow fever vaccination centre.  If you require a yellow fever vaccine (and the accompanying certificate) please contact reception to enquire about availability and fees.  Patients who are not registered at the surgery can also avail of this service.
